The Toast: Fellow occasional gardeners, Prowse family members, friends, esteemed guests, welcome passers by -  please be upstanding and raise your paper cups with me in order to soberly mark the 100th anniversary of the passing of Dr Arthur B Prowse. In this toast, we acknowledge the passion, ingenuity and diligence of the church warden who worked as a healer and in this place toiled  alongside great creating nature. We hope that lives may entwine like the branches of the lime trees in order to provide shade and shelter for passers by,  and we hope that the churchyard will be filled with flowers of friendship.

All: Filled with the flowers of friendship.
